Attitude does make the difference

                                   Attitude does make the difference

Does it really make a difference? You better believe it. Never underestimate the power of a positive attitude. You will enjoy everything more, believe more, see more opportunities and will live life with greater enthusiasm. Truly, attitude does make the difference.

You’ve been told before it’s not important what happens to you, it’s the way you react that makes the difference.

Your attitude is a choice, you win or lose on how you choose. Once you have a positive attitude it’s easier to maintain. Your outlook will determine your life’s Outcomes. If you have any responsibility as a leader, a parent, a boss, the attitude of your followers will be a reflection of your own.

Attitudes determine actions, you are not what you think you are. What you think, you are.

Your attitude determines your altitude. You are only an attitude away from success! The difference between those who are successful and those who are not successful in life is this. The lives of successful people are governed by the thoughts of their best hour, their greatest optimism and their most triumphant experiences. Unsuccessful people, are guided and controlled by their past failures and doubt.

People will try to blame their past conditions and circumstances to justify their lack of success. Victor Frankl, survivor of a prison camp in Nazi Germany said, “The last of the human freedom is to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances.”

  • Our attitude towards life determines life’s attitude towards us.
  • Our attitude towards others will determine their attitude towards us.
  • Our attitude at the beginning of a task will determine the success of the outcome more than anything else.

It has been said that we create our own environment, mental, emotional, physical and spiritual by the attitudes we develop.

I would rather have a rooky employee working with me, one who has a great attitude and a willingness to learn, than a qualified worker with a lousy attitude.

Someone once told me that the best way for a person with a bad view of life to brighten a room, is to leave. Another wise guy with a sense of humour suggested that you send such a person to your opposition where he will do you some good.

“There is little difference in people, but that little difference makes a big difference. The little difference is attitude. The big difference is whether it is positive or negative”             Clement Stone

On my next blog I will examine the effects of a negative attitude. Until then, keep growing.
